i know the miata shocks are for a lighter vehicle but thinking i can use a coil over kit i have to help stiffen up the front end maybe ...might just throw it in to see if it helps ... untill i can get a set up that rides well enough then im just gana raise it back up
i am by no means new to rough riding cars ... but this just feels like a "bad" rough and not because its stiff

you can correct some of the camber yourself without any major mods. theres 2 shims on both side from the factory that can be removed to put the uppers out slightly, also you will want to have an alignment done to check the tow, tow will chew up tires twice as quick as camber.

mono leafing the rear will make it bouncy as hell too. as for the front you are either bottoming out on the shocks or bump stops.

Oh yeah, right. I forgot about the shims. You can get a couple degrees of camber back with the shims...and I'll second the importance of adjusting the toe after a drop...

the rear bouncy doesnt bother me as much as the front

If you reindexed the bars and didn't remove the bump stops that is where your hard bounce is coming from. If the front travels a little bit then has a sudden stop you are bottoming out shocks. I sit with frame 2inches from the ground, on re indexed torsions and right now I have about 1/2in before I bottom out my 4x4 isuzu shocks. Cut the bump stops, swap out the factory front shocks with some isuzu 4x4 if you have a mild drop and factory size tires, 4x2 shocks if you are running on rubber bands like me.

i have my front bump stops pulled out with intent to cut bump stop mount out ... ended up just raising it back up some front tire still slightly tucked in to the fender but not much ... but rides much much better. untill i can afford some new front shocks i will be running at this height .
so with stock tires run the 4x4 shocks ... what about if im going to run 15s with some loser profile tires ? the 4x2 . dont want ruberbands but lower profile for sure
