I'm thinking about lowering my rear a little, just to kind of level her out a bit. With the kind of rads we have around here, I think going too low will just cost me alot of repairs. If I lived somewhere very different though, I'd drop her more.

How tall is your wheel tire combo? Mine looks like it would hit the fenders but it doesn't even while hitting bumps while turning. And it doesn't ride half bad either.. I'll tell u this it rides 100 percent better than with bumpstops. The only thing I've removed from my inner fenders is some of the bolts and the plastic liners that go from the fender to the inner fenders (mine were broken already and when I turned all the way it would rub my tires) other than that all I can say is drop it and go for a lil test drive and see. If u have to raise it back up then at least u know. I've lowered and raised mine a few inches like 100 times just mess with it till u reach a happy medium (between ride height and bouncyness...)

You can also do a balljoint flip and gain about 3/4 of an inch of travel. Then you'll have a larger space between the LCA and the bump stop (which I usually cut down to about 1/4" thick). Youll be able to "raise" the arm but still be at the same amount of drop. Like others have said, use Isuzu front shocks too, they are about 1" shorter then stock. These are the ones I use on my trucks:

Do you know how to do the balljoint flip?

I'm clocked at three splines and rode on the bump apps for several months with no I'll effects except ride quality on bump stops. Two weeks ago I removed the bump stops (but not the mounts) and it's the best move I've made. Even with blown shocks the ride quality has gone up immensely. I'm on stock chromes with decent tires and I've only hit the mounts once. Blown stock shocks still a well, ask the way around. Waiting on my rear DTs to show up then I'll get pup 4x4s for the front.

dude no effing way... i reindexed mine 3 teeth and when i remove the stops without the mounts, im constantly hitting the lca. does even matter if im driving on smooth road! im always hearing and feeling the clanking. i couldnt take it, i had to put the stops back in. it was like riding in a truck with constant hydros up front. i felt like i was in a bounce contest.

Unless mine was set higher before I bought it, they are down three splines from stock and I sit about three quarter inch from the mounts. I do drive like a drunk, avoiding every pothole possible so that may be helping minimize my slamming into the mounts? I can post up pictures after work today or tomorrow.

Sorry for the delay. Came home Friday to find out I had no water at the house and had to figure out what happened and forgot about snapping a picture for you.

I don't. Maybe it's my driving style? Like I said before, I swerve to avoid bumps if it all possible. I get told often that I look like a drunk driver.
