ahh i see the strap now.and couldnt i theoretically bore a hole out in whatever mounting plate i make up and thread the coil sleeve in to it? ill end up strapping the bottom down like you did but i feel like itll give me a more secure base to work with.
In for more pics of this setup, any regrets? How stiff is it? I suppose if the setup works (i.e. has enough travel etc.) then spring rates can be altered, you can buy just about any spring rate you might need from QA-1.
