try holding the handle up when you shut your door.

lol yeah,most vehicles from the early-mid 90s and older with manual locks require the door handle to be held up when you're shutting the door to keep them in the locked position,otherwise,when you shut the door without holding the handle up,the lock will pop back up.

Pretty much every vehicle I've ever owned needed that to be done in order to lock the doors,with the exception of vehicles I had with power locks.

same here, i ahd autolocs and they are straight garbage, i have the spal 45lb solenoids and have never had an issue with them, they are magnetic controled so there is less chance of them corroding unlike the autolocs that corrode and shit out on you

yeah you do have a mazda and u usually have to hold the door handles while closing atleast u guy didnt have the prob when i got mine i got locked in my truck had to roll the windoew up to unlock the door haha

well locked my door lock fell into door...... cant get unlocked busted inside handle trying to get out.......sigh one thing after another!
