when you shave the handles how do connect the rods to the lock so when you turn the key it pops the door open

you just need to weld your handle rod to your lock rod.
if you take off your door panel and take a pic i could point out which one is which and where you should weld it to.

How effective is this? Will it work everytime? How about everytime in Canadian weather LOL...

I took it all apart today and got some copper wire and tied the two bars togeather, it almost worked until I bent my key...

Thanks,
Zac

hey bro, projekt94 showed me a sweet trick. shave the lock too, and run a cable through the door to the fender hooked up to the rod that opens the door. you pull the cable and wall la your door pops open. mine is set up like this until i suicide the doors.

Can't people steal you're car then?

Or do you have power door locks?

I could make something up that just relocates the handle to the wheel well or on the back of the cab... Would be easy... Then you still need a way to unlock the doors...

Power would be best.

How crappy on a scale from 1-10 is this kit:

1 being horrible 10 being great

Zac

P.S. I would invest in poppers but I don't want to deal with them not working in the winter as I have heard...
