Here I'am today, posting up. I ask, what are the largest wheel sizes you can fit on one of these trucks without mods? If I'm right, I think it was 18's on low prolly's. Although, if so, what size rims tucks behind the fenders? 18x7?

If I'm also correct, if I get bigger rims, it will raise my scrub line, right?

17x7 i THINK

ive seen 22's on a non body dropped maz, and 20's on a body dropped, wheels were about 2 mm's from the fender

if its 7'' wide wheel u need atleast a 5'' backspacing, bonspeed makes 18x7 billet specialties, makes them 18x7, and centerline is 17x7, thats all i know so far

Mike, would you explain to me what you mean by backspacing?

Also, what is the difference between buying rims that are for FWD and RWD?

difference between buying FWD or RWD rims is the amount of offset the rims have. FWD rims usually have a real high offset which will allow the wheel to tuck while RWD is usually not so high and wont tuckon these trucks

Yea on a 7" wide rim u will need atleast 35mm offset to tuck on 2wd sheetmetal..

What do you mean without mods? Like not rolling the fender lip and leaving the wheel tubs in the bed?

Oh, okay. I thought it just meant it has to match the trucks. So what your saying is that I need to get FWD rims? And what does offset mean?

All I can find is 18x7.5". Would that be okay?

Yea, thats what I meant. I just want the largest rim I can get with 4" blocks, dropshocks, torsions cranked down, and bumps shaved. Haha, which is not stock. So, now I think that would affect how big of rims I can get without affecting the sheetmetal of the truck.

I do plan on baggin it sometime. I just want to get some rims now. I cant mod any further until my scrubline is up further!

My rims are 15's right now, and its past the scrub line with no mods on it except 3" blocks, and torsions cranked.

I would like to get these rims:

They're so sick!

I've got the Denali wheels tucking on my truck which are 17x7.5" with 31mm offset, but they're really close to the sheetmetal. I folded the fender lip over so it didn't rub on that and the tire hit the bedskin just as it lays out. So if you want a 18x7.5" to tuck without messing with sheetmetal you're probably gonna want to get at least about a 40mm offset.
