A guy out here in OZ did that to an Isuzu pickup. He extended the rockers to lay on the ground (no bd) and added flared guards etc...

It was known as the alien. Was never seen again lol.

looked really bad, but the fab work was pretty impressive.

yea i started drawing a few months ago well im 16 now but i have been in the b scene for 2 years now and i always wanted to make a cowl hood full sheet metle with the orginal body lines and im almost done with it ill post pics if ur intrested

as soon as I finish building my garage, month or so from now

I have a few tricks up my sleeve in that aspect, I'm not gonna share until I get it going, all my work will be sheet metal.

As for the flaring out, I'll do what you see on the minitruckin mag tech section, cut the inner brace and move it out and reweld the brace further out, nothing extreme, really i'm just changing the bodyline, other than that. When I said it would look like a wide body I meant it in the way that the body line will be more progressive from the front, swooping over the rear. I'll draw a pic that shows better what I want to do.

Sooo, hmmmm maybe it has been done, but not on a Mazda, I'm too big to accomodate a BD so this was the idea, I would not extend the rockers that far, like I said, at the most 2 inches,

there's a guy with an s10 that is still around that did a feax-BD by adding to his rockers. it looked bad, and not in a bad means good kind of way.... in my opinion, widebody would just make it look worse. not hating, just stating some constructive criticism, cause in the end, it's your truck, so do what you want and like.

What more space on a bd? Its called a stock floor bd.
