on the base model mazdas, the rear bumper was an option, most just came with the black covers for the opening.....someone had some on e-bay a while back....the se-5's & le-5's came with a bumper as a part of their respective option packages, so if your truck didn't come with a bumper from the factory, they legally can't ticket you as a dealership couldn't sell an "unlawful vehicle"...although i'd say that you would have to show them a window sticker proving it to beat the wrap.

oh, also, good luck finding a hidden hitch....i couldn't find one any where...i went to the hidden hitch site (& various others), they don't show to make a model specific one anymore, so i just bought one for an rv that is adjustable, they came in two widths for different frame sizes 38"-48" & 48"-60" i think....anyhow it has the brackets to bolt it to the frame & you just cut off any excess on either side of the frame bracket....i didn't use the brackets otherwise the hitch would have hung below the roll pan, so i cut a small notch on the inside of each frame rail, & welded it to the frame @ the proper height to be behind the license plate, took the notch pieces & cut them to fit back onto the frame & welded it, so it looks as if it were factory & also ran a security bolt thru the frame & the hitch so there isn't any chance of it coming loose even if a weld were to break.

I was planning of finding an adjustable hitch and do the same thing as NYTRDR24. The problem is I'm currently outta funds so I'm still searching the junk yards.

ahhh,I thought you filled them in. I was looking at pics of your truck a while ago and couldn't figure out what you did to the back. Looks cool like that.
