removing box??

how can i get the box off to install my notch??? I put some break fluid on the bolts to break the rust but all the nuts are hidden and only the bolt heads are showing. The one on each side closest to the cab have the nuts there but the others don't.. how can i get to them??? or do i not need to??

my box had no nuts i don't think, just 6 big bolts.......

then there is like 4 or 6 small bolts to undo the gas filler thang.

the taillight wires, maybe the licesne plate light wires,

then it should lift right off

There are 6 Bed Bolts! 4 of them you can reach with an impact! The other 2 you will just need to do some old fashion wrenching!

I used PB to soak em, then a 1/2" Impact to break em loose!

if you cant use an impact then you will have to man up because they can be so tight it feels almost impossible, wear gloves too for when they bust loose....

there are 8 bolts not 6. i had too heat the bolts with a torch on mine. as soon as they were red hot they came right out woith hardly no effort. just heat them till theyre red dont heat them too much though.

my bed had 8 bolts to just took mine off about a week and a half ago... to clean up the frame and paint the frame
