Is anyone using this stuff right now at work, or at thier home garage?
And does it cost any more than most traditional stuff?

I have an attached garage, and I dont wanna pollute too much, or stink up the house!

Thanks,
Dan

I tis grainier than solvent based paint, and it is not safer by any means....it is NOT WATER BASED it is water bourne, meaning that water is the carrying agent for the pigments....and some of the pigments like phtallo blue are a carcenogin. Always use a mask, and ventilate.

i've heard that these new water based auto paints are supposed to overtake the market and are bad ass.

our paint shop has to be totaly re outfitted to deal in water base.

The paints are not water based, they are water borne there is a big difference.

my parents were extremely happy when I was redding out my tail lights in the basement at 1:30 in the morning. They almost woke up dead.

And why the hell are you changing to water based paint in victoria.....Those laws aren't even passed in california yet.

Gravity, what do ya reccomend fer at home use?
Given the criteria I need.

It depends on what you are painting.....For automotive use, I don't recomend doing it at all because all of the paints are harmful in some way. But if you have to then use aut air as it is less flamable than solvent borne paints. But still as poisonous in a lot of cases.
