a twist on clear tails...

so you might have some all clear tails on your truck but did you ever think of doing this?



I took the lights apart and I painted the entire inner housing black,and using amber bulbs and red gel cap covers on the brake lights. They light up really good still,if not better than before,and I think they look really cool being "smoked" from the inside.



I'm thinking about trying the same with my clear corners and signals in the front.

What do you guys think?

yeah,but that totally defeated the purpose of me spending $100 for CLEAR lenses. But yeah,I did like them that way too,lol

thats what i did to my 1st set of clears in '01. The chrome was messed up, so I painted em in ultra flat black. I dont remember the brand, just rattle can. And it was pretty nice.

I'd like to get another set of clears, but not sure if I ever will. I'm going different routes with my tails prolly.

I dont see an taillights all i see is in few dents on the corners.... They look good though...I like the look of the red out tail the best though

i did that to my corner lights. u cant really tell tho unless u really look hard at them.
