Good write-up....

Not too sure about the glue, but it looks like it works.

wouldn't u wanna weld it?

That cowl is some really thin metal, so I can see why he took the glue route...but welding wouldn't be a bad idea as long as you kept the heat down!

if your not a good welder or maybe if you dont have a awelder, which a lot of people dont, and it doesnt cause any warp lol.

Ya the glue you can use and I have used it for shaving doors is a product called 3M panel adhesive 8155. I will double check on the number tomorrow bros but this stuff is great I don't know if it's the same as what meesh used but it works great and as long as it is steel to steel it will last forever I have aset of doors I did for a guy a few years ago and they are still mint and I did the doors on the roadster I did and they are still mint as well. The cowl looks great but I would have layed a small skim of the panel adhesive glue over the seems as the glue is a great seem sealer and after it is hardened it is like concrete and will never crack or show your lines when finished.

Interesting....

Good info.

I welded mine. Its reassuring, especially since mine isn't removable, and has to seal against the elements. But the 3M glue should work.
