window tint.

i didn't know if i should post this in interior or exterior. technically its interior. anyways, i'm ordering a roll of tint tonight and i want to know what % to get. i've tinted 5% before so i know what that looks like. but i'm thinking about getting 20%. can you guys post pictures of your cars with 5% and 20% and tell me which one it is? and i dont want 35%, its too light.

ive got 20% all the way around on my mazda, i love it and thats all im going to do on my trucks, i had 5% before and i couldnt see shit at night and backing up was a pain, the 20% is dark enough where u cant see inside at night but light enough to see out clearly

I work at a tint shop and I really like the look of 20% all the way around but in WA it's illegal to have you front doors darker than 35%. 20% is about what comes factory on rear doors of newer SUV like tahoes,escalades. My trucks are 35% and 5% on the back, kinda hard to see out a night but I deal with it. Most of the stuff you can order is low quality will fade and turn purple in a short time, at our shop we use Madico brand film high quality stuff if I were you I would go to a tint shop and see if they will sell enough to do your truck or have them do it aand get some type of warranty at our shop a truck like yours would cost $160.00. Also talk to Saggio on here I belive he owns a time shop over there.

On my blazer I have 20% on the sides, Factory Rear, and 35% on entire windshield. Waiting on spring time to do the mazda.

Man your lucky you cant put tint on the windshield here well maybe the top 3 to 6 inchs

Ohh its illegal around here also. Just like speeding. I got a ticket once in myrtle beach for $700 on my last bagged truck, I ripped it and he dropped it...

ya so i think i'm gonna go with 20. i hate driving at night with 5 and i've just never seen 20 and didn't know if its too light.

i got 2.5% on my back and 5% on the doors and front now and it's awfull in the dark or bad weather
