ya the epoxy has a built in sealer what i was getting at is the basic primer that is out there even high build primer has attendance to soak up moister. But as I said epoxy primer has a built in sealer I have had one of my trucks sprayed in it and drove for 3 years and that never rusted suprized the hell out of me and now everything I build gets a coat of this stuff.

Check out Sherwin Williams spectra prime. It comes in your basic colors, white, black, blue, greeen, yellow, red and gray. It is also a tintable primer, so you can make it what ever color you want. This primer can be used as a regular primer, or can also be used as a sealer primer. If you would decide to do this, you would need the primer, H38 hardner, S40 Sealer converter and a urethane grade reducer.

one of the most recent issues of sport truck mag was a paint and 'custom primer' issue. there were a few articles about this. i had about 6% blue tint in my primer a few years ago... my truck looked like this:

ha- u can see the blue still in my sanded down front fenders.
u can use regular basecoat paint to tint the primer
