I have Hella H-4s on mine and they are great.Maybe it is the offbrands that are bad news and not the style itself.Hella makes great offroad and driving lites and I wouldnt expect them to put out anything that was crappy.BJ

HID kits are great and yea cheap on eBay, BUT with most aftermarket lenses they are plastic, which will melt with HID's heat. If they are glass than fantastic your lights will be awesome. If you readthefine print it usually states that you cannot use with plastic housings. but good call though HIDs are badass to the max

ive got the cheap projector headlights from ebay and the hids as well. the headlights have a glass lense and i can see great. ive got hids in my cr-v and have had them for a few years now. they have plastic lenses and i havent had an issue yet. as far as removing stuff burdaddy, they fit in just like any h4 bulb, the harness coming off of the bulb goes to a box (ballast) that you have to mount. from the ballast goes another harness that you plug into your factory plug. then wa-da-ta.

The plastic in aftermarket lenses is crap, I melted 2 sets with HIDS before, then started reading up on it and its VERY common, Im sure your hondas factory plastic is fine, and thats badass your lenses are glass on your truck! what kelvin are you lights?
