heres a side by side comparison. the first one is the standard h4 conversion that is good with normal bulbs. the second one sucks with normal bulbs and needs the hids.

So basically,the projector lenses are like trying to watch a widescreen movie on a regular tv. It just doesn't work out that great.

just posted a topic on these before i seen this how hard are they to install are they direct fit or is there cutting involved?

They're the exact same as installing a stock headlight.

actually the glass is just a lil bigger on those cheap ones compared to stock, the trim that holds the lense in doesn't fit over like the stock ones. Those are the same ones I have, w/ 6k hid's, only thing I should've done was go w/ the Hi/Low beam, instead of just low beam HID.

i had to cut/trim at the bezels, they're all hacked up now, gotta get a new set. Just cheap ebay lenses. It all works, so I'm good.
