standard vs extra cab bed??

ive been pushin that idea around in my head to lol

can someone measure up a standard bed. please post inches and millimetres if your measuring tape has both. my usa made stanley has both
i'll be taking my extra cab bed off soon so i'll be sure to measure it up and post the sizes here

got some good ideas running around my head but i'll need to know the size before i run out and buy one.

slamsonthedawgmaster has an extended cab long bed. I'm pretty sure it came like that stock though. Look him up.

Mazda never made an ext cab long bed.

the beds are the exact same length. the only difference is the wheelwells are positioned more towards the front with an extended cab bed. there are also only 6 frame mounts on the extended cab frame vs. 8 on a std. cab frame.

im in the same situation. i have a mint std cab bed and an ex-cab truck. I plan on reworkin the back half of the frame and thinking of going with the std cab bed but cant decide. Does anybody have a pic of a ex-cab truck with an single cab bed. It would be great if someone did. Maybe a little photoshop?

well on sleepyspeeds truck it looks shorter behind the axle, not in front of it

the only mounts that are different from the std cab and the ext cab are the 2 forward mounts on the std cab. they arent there on the ext cab. the other 6 mounting holes are there and in the same spots on the std cab and ext cab.

Exactly, because the wheel wells are further back on the single cab bed. He cut 3 inches off the front to fit it on.
