thats one thing i notice about minitruckers. i haven't seen but one cab with braces tacked in place before cutting shit apart. thats step numero uno. you should always brace the cab BEFORE you cut the firewall, cab corners, rockers, anything. especially if your doing a bodydrop. 3/4 x 3/4 square or 1 x 1 is plenty and as mentioned do an X and (since your firewall is gone) you should have at least welded one straight across from pass to driver side. another X would be ideal tho(like top pass side near wiper cowl area, to bottom driver kick panel area, and vice versa). its all about triangulation.

Ya. . I didn't even think to do that before I started to bodydrop it. . . I have never seen pics with a cab braced up and this is my forst bodydrop. . So ya. . .

Thanks for the info Geoff. . . So you think I should brace it front to back in an X and up and down where the firewall would be? Or about where it would be. . Jus near the front?

I'm def gonna brace it up before I pull it off. . . I don't need it flexin and all this work goin to waste. . . Haha

Since you are already mostly welded up, I would just do an X under the dash area. Like from the the kick panel to the a pillar (where the a pillar meets the dash area). Everything else is already welded, so that would be my only area of concern.

word

the doors are the main area where its noticible if your cab sagged or not. so as long as your doors fit, you can pretty much 'fake' everything else in.
