I wondering the same thing! I just put a 4runner bumper on my gf's 88 and I can't get the corners to sit flush with the fenders at all! It looks horrible... any suggestions?

It's got 4x4 fenders on it

Yeah but I meant the space between the bottom of the fender and the top of the bumper. I wanted it to butt-up more even with it. Any ideas?

Probably custom built brackets instead of the bought ones...or modified the bought ones?

Yeah you have to mod the hell out of the ordered brackets, herese a pic and thats out of the box and bolted

I think if you pie cut the backside of the bumper where it wraps around to the side and then start puching the side in till it fits more even with the 2wd fender might work. then tack it back up where you made your cuts. I'm sure it would have to rechromed and heck im not even sure it would work but its just my two cents!

I had to cut that much

thats sad to see a product sold, that you still have to modify... hope it wasnt that expensive.
i mean its not hard to fix it up if you have a grinder and welder, but takes more time. and if you dont have a welder... well then that'll piss ya off more.

on a good note, it looks great done in your sig. which bumper is that? what year?

94 toyota 4runner, I made the mistake of buying a 95 bumper first and found out there different and sold it quick. the lights on the 94 arent surrounded by chrome like the others are.
