What all needs to be done to get a 20x8.5 38-40mm offset wheel to tuck?

Do you have to have 4 wd sheet metal, will there be any big issues while turning, etc...?

Also I am supposed to be looking for a positive (+) offset right?

Here's an example of what I'm looking at.

20x8.5 6x5.5 38 Black/Machined Lip

are you body dropped, and what size tire are you planning on using?

Currently, I'm not body dropped, but was planning on going to the rocker with a traditional and I'm pretty open to the tire size, whatever I need to get em to fit.

The trucks not going to be a daily or anything like that.

its a tight fit, i used to have them on mine with 225/30/20 tires, you should be ok in the front if you don't use spindles, in the back they will touch the bedsides when your layed out

Are you keepin 6 lug? ? Or swapin to 5 ? ? You can probably tuck those if you arent bodydropped if you are keepin 6 lug, but I think they will hit the bed a lil when laid out. . It'd be easier to tuck em with a narrower Toyota axle with a bodydrop though. . Up front, you should be fine if you keep stock spindles so they camber hard. . And you may wanna look into gettin your axle narrowed if you wanna bodydrop your truck. . I bagged my truck with +40 offset wheels, I've only done the front so far but the back is gettin a toyota axle AND narrowed if need be. . But the front has stock control arms, and stock TOYOTA spindles, and they have no problem clearing the fenders. . I am actually lookin into gettin a lower offset wheel so they dont stick in so far. .

Currently I'm still deciding, if I can run a wheel like this and stay 6 lug, I'll probably just stay 6 lug.

I do plan on body dropping it to the rockers so 2-1/2" or so.

Would those clear in the rear with the Mazda rear end with 4x4 metal? Not sure if you were referring to 2WD or 4WD metal.

Will it clear with stock Maz spindles or will I would need to pie cut my uppers?

Yeah, I'm assuming the high offset would leave me with very little lip which I would prefer, not a big fan of "truck" wheels.

This is great f'n news...I thought I was going to be stuck with some douche bag wheels unless I did a 5 lug swap...

Also just found these...they can be ordered with a 110 center bore, reading it looks like the mazda is a 108, I'm assuming that means you wouldn't have to modify the wheel or the hub?

6x139.7 +38 Offset $250.00/ea

Center Bore: 110.00
