well i went and was checking stuff out and there is ALOT more rust than what i had thought. the whole inside of the rocker panel where the floor pans meets is gone. about an inch of the floor pan in that area is gone . also in the front under the pedals there is about 4 or 5 inches rusted out. all on the drivers side. its pretty bad really dont know if its worth saving or even where to start fixing. any info on fixing the backsideof the rocker panel

Ya man. . Do like me. . I bodied mine an inch into the rocker. . so 3.25" total bodydrop. . I cut the whole backside of the rocker out so my new rockers would fit in. . and once I finish the rockers, I plan on runnin sheetmetal from the rockers i made, to the bottom of the cab. . So you could jus bodydrop it more so you cut out most of the rusted parts. . But the more you bd it, the harder it gets. . or you could jus bd it to the rocker and cut out the rusted part and weld in new sheetmetal. . The part by the gas pedals shouldnt be a problem. . jus cut out the spot of rust, about an inch bigger than the rust, and make fillers. . no big deal. .

heres some in progress pics of how i did my rockers so far. . .

And thats pretty much how it sits as of right now. . . . I am a fag and havent touched it in 4 months so nothin else has gotten done to it. . . . . But dont worry too much bout tohe rust dude! ! ! Anything can be fixed. . . Jus whether its worth it to you to fix it or not. . or jus get a new cab and start on that one. . .

the big problem with it is that the cab mount is rusted pretty bad to. and also that whole panel it is mounted to that runs to the back to the other cab mount. i can make a cab mount but as for that panel what guage metal should i use to make it strong enough for the mount to hold on to. and the rust in the floor pan is right around the mount bolt. i want to drive this truck so safety and strength is important.

Im not sure what the "panel" is you are talkin about. . But if you were remaking the cab mounts, i would prolly use like 1/8" or 3/16". .

Maybe post some pics, we could help more with ideas then. .

WELL MY MAZDA IS BODY DROPPED 3" AND WHEN I LAY HER OUT MY WHEELS DONT SEEM TO CAMBER HOW DO I GET THEM TO CAMBER ????....I WOULD PUT A PIC ON HERE BUT IT SAYS THE BOARD ATTACHMENT QUOTA HAS BEEN REACHED

the panel im talking about is where the cab mount actualy mounts to the cab. that whole panel is like missing. for the most part the mount is still good except the tabs that welds to the panel. another question i have is can i cut everything out for the body drop then take the cab off so i will have room to weld everything up. probably a bad idea just an idea. thanks for all the info

you cant cut it out and take it off, you'd have to cut it out, and weld the floor up, you could take it off then to do the cab mounts. . and that panel. . I'd probably do like 1/8" for that panel. .

And 91b2200, what are you runnin up front? ? stock spindles or drop spindles? ? Stock control arms? ? Are the uppers pie cut? ?
