is it ok to do body work (shaving doors, etc) with flux core wire? ive heard different arguments for and against it and i am wondering what you guys think? thanks

I'm not a welder by trade but if you know what your doing i don't think so. Keep the porosity down to a min and make sure to use a QUALITY metal sealer like por15 over your welders before filler/primer.

ya you can do it with one but it will be a lot more work and a lot shityer looking

a weld is a weld, but yeah it'll look like crap

Yes, you can do it.
If you have a lot of experience, you can even get beautiful welds.
I choose to run solid wire with gas shielding because you burn less wire and don't have to chip any slag.

right thats the more work I was saying the whole chiping part...lol

its good to see somebody with a welder and some sense conjoined together. i hate seeing people with a welder and no sense with an attitude of i can do it yuall are stupid. I think you will find waiting is the much better route haha. goodluck man.
