BOB - it looks like your tail gate could come down a little, it would help your body lines line up better.

i did the tailgate handle flip also, before welding the gate shut... its pretty simple, if you take off the access panel on your tailgate, you'll get a good understanding about what he's talking about.

here's a look under that cover. you dont need to flip anything, just cut a hole and mash down on the latch. a template with those 2 screw holes makes it very easy to cut the cover right on.

sorry bob. i wanted to point out an obvious flaw in your system with out saying "wow that shit doesn't line up at all." there are a lot of trucks (on the internet and magazines) that the body panels line don't line up at all. like from hack job notches or backhalves and the bed's sagging, or hacked up rockers and saggy doors etc.. u get the idea.
bob, i was trying to, in a nice way, draw your attention to something which to me seems to have been overlooked. yes your obviously doing bodywork and its still showing its minitruck trademark: primer, right? which 95% of the minitrucks are in this "scene" as its so lovingly called are in a pseudo-finished state of permanent primer, so how was i to know?
so bob, i'm sorry. i now realize you have it handled. i was wrong to assume you were either (a) not smart enough to realize your tailgate didn't fit right in the bed, or (b) didn't care enough to fix it before taking the pic.

i put on some decent hinges so it would fit better, then put a couple shims in for you speed, better?

just got done shaving my tailgate handle looks good handle now is on the inside of the tailgate almost looks factory
