heres the only pic i could find
but i marked some lines up my hood with a texta/sharpie
i think like 4" paralell from the standard bodyline of the hood
then made a template of the shape from cardboard i was wanting,
then cut 2 of the template cut the bonnet sat the filler pieces inplace then lend them
inwards at the top as i didnt want my cowl square-ish so i got my desired angle
with the filler plates tac welded the bottoms of the filler plate to the bonnet
then drew a line on upper of the cowl bonnet to indicate the filler plates then drilled a few holes along the line
then plug welded thru the holes to the filler once it was strong enough i cut the excess upper cowl sheetmetal/hood to the angled fillers tacced it a few more times before flipping my bonnet
to weld the under side, if u do it this way make make u prep all metals that need welding of paint & shit etc
as the nice the weld area the nicer the weld for a better finish then finish of with filler & paint
actually i used the bog filler thar has fibres thru it we call it gorilla hair over here lol
its like a fibreglass car filler i used it for added strenght over the welds on the underside
i also made sure i started the cut inline with the factory bodyline aswell
i wanted it to look as factory as possible, it has a filler plate inwhich u see thru the window with vent holes cut into it aswell if i cnt find any pics ill take som more as the bonnet is in the shed
heres my pic
