Wits I still had my stock floored Toyota.....man I miss that truck.i was teased a lot.

Not trying to bump up this sticky or anything but Im wondering if anyone had to lower the motor when they do a sfbd? I have seen it in other trucks but I only want to drop it to rolled pinch welds. Just a question before construction begins. I think its like 2 3/4" drop to the pinch weld or something. I know you have to either cut the pinch or roll it under the hood to clear the firewall. And do you have to cut out the stock hood to body drop it that distance. Thanks in advance

Would a channel drop be easier than than the "cut a strip out of the body then weld together" drop?

I'm channeling mine now and it's more of a pain then just doing a traditional but oh well lol
