When notching the frame for the lower radiator hose, did you guys also notch further into the frame to make room for the drain plug and temp sensor as well? The plug will clear but the temp sensor will deffinately not clear but ive never seen anybody mention it. Just wondering?

Had to relocate the clutch m/c

I didnt have to notch anything besides the lower rad hose

With a weber you dont need that temp sensor anymore. You can buy a brass plug and thread it into the rad. If you are going to keep the heater you will need to drop the tranny tunnel some it get it to fit back in. Both mazdas I trad BD i tossed the heater in the trash. If you cut the firewall on the vertical part you dont even need any filler metal for it. The hood is going to be close. Lowering the motor 3/4 inch is easy if it doesn't close. Unbolting the front of the bed and spacing it with washers at the bottom is the easiest and better looking than having a "scar" across it.

Where's the "thank you" button when you need it?

Were in Montana and it gets cold quite often so keeping the heater will be a good choice, so we are planning on cutting through the trannel tunnel vs. just going across the top.

Will we need to modify the pedals after putting everything back together? I see alot of guys cutting and moving them... is that because they are doing a bigger body drop leaving no room for them to clear the floor?

Also how are you guys fitting stock carpet back in after tubbing the firewall? I imagine it's a little easier if tubbing only a section but what about cutting the whole factory tub out and replacing with a whole trailer fender section all the way down to the floor?

The factory carpet will fit more or less lol.

What did you guys do with the pinch on your trucks? I tried to bend it over with a hammer and it all it did was start to crush the rocker so we stopped. The back side of the rocker/ floor pan bracing got in the way preventing the pinch from folding over flat with the bottom of the rockers. Im thinking of cutting the pinch off completely then welding it back together but if there's a better alternative i'll do it.

Cut it iff with a sawzall then welded it up
