If anyone needs an upgraded alternator, I have heard you can put a gm 1 wire alternator in, and get about 100 amps from it.
I have an alternator built by Iraggi alternator. It is a gm case, ground down mounts to fit a mazda. It puts out around 250 amps. Covers my amps and compressors nicely.....pricey though. Do a Google search for him, because I don't have his contact info handy.

The alt I am running is a gm 1 wire. I picked it up on ebay for around $25.00 and it puts out 180 amps.

i've been drivin my truck for 3 years w/no audio. i'm plannin 2 12"s with at least 1500w amp, an infinity component setup and 2 4" speakers.

my system is in my car right now, i will transfer it all to my truck when i get it running/get a new one....then i will run 2 15" JL's in my car, not sure what amp i'm going with yet (after the truck is bagged)

It's sittin on the floor staring at me right now...lol I used to have 3 JL audio 12w6's behind the seats reg. cab. ya it was tight.. for now I 'm using 3 12w1's 2- 8 ohm 1- 4 ohm with a kenwood 70x2 briged and a kenwood 40x2 briged. Now here is the interesting part. Either I'm gonna wimp out and put my jl 6" in the door and run it with a 75x2 crossfire, OR glass in my 2 - 8W6's into each door for midbass and make some kick panels for the jl co - ax's. Have another crossfire 50x2 if I do.
Eventually if I get stupid I wanna squeeze my 6 12W6's in there somehow, just no power to run them ...

i had 2 jl 12w1.v2 with a jl audio 250/1 and it was loud. now i'm going to put 2 powerbass 15's with 2 oroin 2500d amps and i'm going to do a blow through in my truck
