putting my deck in my dash under the vents

Whew forgot about this, for all those interested, YES there is a brace that needs to be cut, took a good look tonight when I was installing a new deck. Nothing a sawzall woudn't take care of pretty easily. No idea what I would have used back then, but I knoe that I didn't have access to a sawzall !!! just thought I'd correct myself.

i fittered a flip out tv screen in the top space and found that u have to cut the metal plate out and cut the air ducting just a bit

but u have to mount it to the trim facia

I had to cut the metal bracket/brace to fit mine in and cut a little of the plasted, basiclk just trim everything till it slides in.

Yea the bracket needs cut and I just went and cut up everything I could because my truck wont be drivin in the winters anymore. Its not a hard job you can get the head unit in there in less than an hour.

i pulled my dash out when i did it. There are two brackets, if you don't cut the second one in the dash your head unit will stick out and i t6ook my vent boot out...
