A good set of kickpanels will give you the best sound. If not there then some door pods, angled back slightly. OR a combination of the 2. smaller mids and tweets or 2 ways in the kick and a 6-6.5 midbass in the doors.

The factory ones in a extended cab (mine is a 93) are 6 1/2" 's. The dash ones are 4 inchers

5 1/4" or 6 1/2" they both work in the rear of a ext cab

I took out the metal surround, smashed it flat, cut out the 6x9 holes, mounted the speaker and reinstalled the mount. Left me about 3/8".

Sounds sweeeeeeeeeet!
