How Too Interior Kits

I'm looking for some feedback into an idea that I've been working on for the last few months in my spare time. I have developed a kit for you to make your own custom panels for 86-93 mazdas. I have started with the most common thing that I make, door panels. This is whats included in the kit:

1. Instructional DVD w/written tutorial and still photos
2. Paper Templates for full and 3/4 panels (Templates also have build-out locations for various sizes of speakers)
3. Paper design templates (5 styles, with 1 blank for your own custom design)
4. Paper Build-out templates for 4", 5 1/4", 6 1/4" and 6 1/2" and combos
5. 1 Can of Upholstry glue (will take extreme heat and will do more than 1 set of panels)
6. Tool list and supply list

I am looking to see if you (mazda consumers) would be interested in something like this? And if so, what would you be willing to pay? Give me some feedback, thanks.

I'm not too sure if you mean pics of the kit or pics on the how too DVD, but here are some stage pics of the making of a panel.

No, the panels will not be pre made. They are to be made of 1/8" hardboard or 1/8" Danish Hardboard. Both of these can be found at your local home building center (ie. Home Depot, Lowes, etc.). There is paper templates of everything that you must cut out. Including the door panels, locations for single or multiple speaker applications, custom arm rest heights, window crank spin void, custom designs (2 flames, 2 tribal, 1 mix, and 1 blank for you to design your own). The glue being sent is specific automotive upholstry glue that you can't just pick up anywhere. It can sustain drastic cold and extreme without breaking down. It will hold any material in any conditions.

The panels that are built on the DVD have a dual fiberglass buildout for a 4" and 6 1/4" speakers, tribal design, custom molded arm rest, shaved vent and 2 tone covering. Also, there is an additional section for full door panels(panel wraps to the window). It requires a slightly different panel and different wraping techiniques.

The idea of this is to save you money, give you upholstry and upholstry fab skills, and the satifaction of say yea I made those. There is a guy on here who was selling a set of panels that he paid $400 for from an upholstry shop, you could make then for about $80-$100 (probably even less). Instead of spending $400 at you local shop make an origional set yourself and save a few hundred bucks. You get what I'm saying.

I would be intrested.. depending how much your selling these kits for. I think its a very creative idea, and gives everyone a more hands on approach to building their own truck.

What would you pay for a kit like this?, or what do you think a reasonable price would be? I know how much the kits cost to make so the selling price would have to be worth making the kits.

I love the idea man. I'd come and grab one now from ya , your only 15 minutes away from me .

As for a price, i'm not sure how much it costs to make but i'd give you 75-100 for it? I don't know if that's too little or too much.
