stupid question???

does the tilt wheel sit higher that the non tilt wheel though? i got a tilt column and was gonna swap it into my truck for a little more leg room, but if it doenst give any more clearance i may as well not waste the time

I don't think it does. From what I remember it brings it back to stock position or lower. IF it does raise it I know it's minimal.

Thats what ive been planning on doing. Id like a niceer looking steering column, Adn im gonna try getting the flaming river one to work.. I wouldnt think it woudl be too hard, you'd just have to get the steering shaft to fit from the column to the steering box.. And of course probly modify the firewall a little so that you could mount it. The only other thing im not sure about is like wipers, and turn signals.. obviously the harnesses will be different, so id have to figure out how to make it work with stock mazda wiring. Otherwise tho i wouldnt think it'd be too dificult to do

I believe their steering coloums have all the wiring all ready to go, they are supposed to keep everything clean and on the coloum itself. When I get that far, thats what I am going to do. I came over to mini-truckin from muscle cars and hot rods so I am putting my own twist on my truck.
