with that Q-logic monitor do you have to use that tv tuner or can you just plug the a/v cable from the monitor to your headunit?

The monitor actually has a brain. Its gay but you have tons of room to put it up in the dash. From the brain you just run your video cable to your HU/DVD player.

Finally got to do some more work on the Mazda today. I started the monitor and heater control bezel and though I'd see what you think. Theres still a volt gauge to go on the left side of the fan/hot cold knobs and a pocket to go below the monitor. The bezel has that slight curve to it also that still has to be shaped.

damn bro, looks good. what kind of wood is that?

Its the same 1/8" Hardboard (or danish hardboard or about 10 other names depending on where your from) that I use for the door panels. Its used alot in upholstry and stereo installs. Its easy to sand and to shape. More pics of the interior build will follow. There's still a huge list left.

Oh, I have a question. Anyone think this monitor would work nicely? Of course the case and all would be scrapped?

HELL NO.....dude don't buy that shit, its garbage. Plus the company, MP3 Player Store is corrupt beyond anything that I have ever seen before. Their actual site is . Crooks! with a garbage product that I wouldn't wipe my ass with.

LOL well...whats the link to the q-logic cheap but non-garbage screens? lol

Zac

P.S. Did anyone see the "Value well over 999$" LOL I guess they meant pesos or yen.

Try these (first one is the guys name that sells these, keep checking for the no reserve starts at $0.01):

Sweet price and in Canada, try and grab it of under $65

PM this guy and see if he will ship it for actual cost (should be about $10 insured). Not the best screen but a good starter to screw around with:

This is an all in 1 overhead. Good units with a good screen. Not bad for $75, if you can keep the shipping down.:
