in the last pic you can see where the metal was trimmed and the duct moved. -bf

god no!!! never ever ever put a torch in or near your dash, unless you ahve a fire extinuisher handy, get a heat gun at wal mart or sears $15-20 max, then put it on low heat and start to heat the duct, stay a good bit away so you dont melt it or burn it, you will see when it starts to get flexible, you may also want to wear gloves so you dont burn your hands, once its soft enough to move you can flex it gently out of the way then let it cool

Haha, thanks fan. Your probably ahead of me on things, so I dunno what I could help ya with, lol.

I know it may not seem logical, but would I be able to do the cutting with a fine tooth blade on a jig saw? Haha! And if I just put some cuts in the duct, could'nt I just "shrink" it?

Hmmm, a heat gun, huh? Well, I know they don't get as hot as one, but would a hairdryer work?

And the wiring! Haha, I know... But I need to know, whether or not I have to hardwire it.

a hairdryer would take forever, i used a hot air gun and the handle of a screwdriver to push back the duct and a dremel with a big cutoff wheel to cut the metal behind the dash. the booklet that came with the stereo should tell u how to wire it

yeah i got my heat gun at sears in the paint department i think it was like $30 bucks, but its pretty nice, and as for the metal cutting be real careful after you cut it, you may even want to tape off the edges, so that you dont cut yourself or the wires

do you include the parts too? the head unit tv and guages lol, i will drive to canada if you will include that stuff, im just kidding man but your dash looks nice bro

A heat gun and a 2x4 or 2x6 works dandy - heat it up and push it back.
