$295.00 CDN
I went to the local auto electric (Northern Auto Electric) shop and asked one of their more experienced guys, and he had a catalog. I was asking for autoloc but he said this kit was better, its a fairly generic kit, from some place in California. I still have the box somewhere, the wiring instructions were terrible but I figured it out.
I'll find you a model number and maybe a website.

basically, the wiring diagram was not matching the kit I got , but I used my trusty test light, and I have a good basic knowledge of relays and (2 throw push reset pole switching) switches.
with a new kit ya should be fine.
I used to install 12v stereos and accessories professionally, I'm here for ya if you need help.

Oh yeah, for the sake of a lux feeling and sounding ride, I filled the a and b pillars and any other crevaces with expanding foam , it made a huge difference in sound dampening, nothing is worse than something that sounds like its falling apart cuz you got a sub shakin the crap outta yer cab.

oh yeah, I filled the rockers too

I just finished my new sub box, I'll post some pics tomorrow.
It sounds really good, I'm using an alpine type R 10" and 650w continuously rated CEA 2006 spec alpine amp. It's hittin real hard the box is mdf and fiber glass, using stretched fleece for shaping to the firewall wheel well area.
I have a 10" neon ring that lights w/ the bass, that might be too much like a tuner car though, any thoughts?

the correct question would be.

Did you build the truck for us, or yourself?
If you like it man, more power to you.

In my case, I wouldn't put the sub there, I'd have to knock too many skulls from people kickin my shit! Haha, looks pretty good man, I think I'm gonna go with the whole sheetmetal dash like plane jane or somethin.

Nice work! Keep it comin!

In finished form the sub including it's massive excursion will be covered by a glass window, I welded a bracket to the floor to bolt it down , kinda sick today I'll get ssome pic asap

That power window kit is good but what are you going to do to get your door panel to fit over it?

Make sur that you keep the glass cover for your sub at least 2" away for it when it is fully extended.
