I have been looking and in my 2006 300 they use EL lighting I am in the middle of changing the color and was thinking you can could get a sheet change the interior lighting in the mazdawgs with this!! I mean you can get a sheet for $100 and some change and you can cut the sheet any way you want to as long as you leave the connectors on the ends. I think it would look pretty sweet!!

Yeah ive got EL string in my truck for the ignition switch and made a set of scuff plates with holes in them so when u open door, soft blue EL lites the floor, ignition and under the dash. When u close door it all shuts off.BJ

Nice idea. I would ask for a couple of pics, but I know how hard it is pic at nite that actually gets the same effect as being there.

that sounds nice.

Lighted ignition switches are inventions from the car gods. I hate when I can't find the hole in the dark.

electro-luminescent.instead of a bulb, the current activates a 'string" or wire coated with a chemical and encased in plastic. It glows and the color depends on the chemical used.Very flexible, looks cool but a little hard to work with as the wire is very small diameter and my old eyes aint gettin any sharper.Lol.BJ
