new amp

hey on my L-7... my amp is about to die... ***SWEEEEET*** finally... so im looking for a new amp, any one got any ideas on what to run, or got one forsale...?

get something that can be bridged for max power, is it a dual 4 ohm or dual 2 ohm sub? that may also be playing a factor in why its not loud enough for you, you may have it run wrong

its a dual 4ohm. i have the wiring diagram kicker sent me.. the amp i have is 2ohm. stable so i ran it at 2ohm. for a meir 1200w. max... and with its age im not even sure it would do it... i expected it to die

You should look for atleast 1000 rms for that L7

you guys know anyone runing a volfenhag?
i had a friend runing one on 2 boss 12"s but thats a 200 dollar setup... nothing wrong with it but ya know...

Not exactly my cup of tea, but Im sure it will do its job. Test it with a multimeter and a 50 hz test tone to find out its true power output...

Get some test tones here and burn them to a disk.

Then follow this tutorial for setting your gains and it will tell you its true RMS output.

Following that guide will also make your system sound a lot better and run more efficent.
