an L7 usually only holds like 400watts. any good power and it falls apart

400wts then fall apart?? haha your a funny character. actually my buddy has a 04 si with an l7 12 and a kicker 750wt and he runs balls ou everyday and hasnt had not one prob. with it. but anyways...immortial, i like those songs, they really speak to me and "choke me up"great stuff.

peak power vs rms power are two totally different things. i work at a stereo shop and i see those kicker pieces of junk fall apart everyday.

kicker has been around so long that even though their quality is bad, youre still gonna buy it for the name. i see too many of these blown time and time again. sound just doesnt come from a square speaker. its a bad design

i have to disagree with you man, i think they blow from improper use. i have kicker subs in all 4 of my vehicles and beat the shit out of them and have not blown one yet ( knock on wood ) i too worked in an audio shop and sold hundreds of kicker subs and very rarely had one come back blown. and when one did come back it was from the person either massively uner powering the sub or running it improperly, so how you can say that kickers quality is bad is funny to me, not trying to slam you or talk shit on you, but it just seems you are speaking from personal expierience not facts
