no heater....help.............

i had the same problem with my rx7 i was told that the actual unit that has the leavers and whatnot on it goes bad. they run about 300 bucks, or u could just take it out and put a tv there.

well my blower is out and i tested it and it said im gettin 11.8 after using contact cleaner to e safe. so what next yall?

Are you saying the blower motor is toast?

If so, go down to the wrecker and get a used one. Just make sure the wrecker tests it for you before you leave.

I'm not sure of the process involved in removing/replacing but I can check in my 86 B2000 Shop Guide for procesure.

BTW, what year is your ride?

where were u testing it to get 11.8 volts? were u testing the plug that plugs into the motor?, have u checked the circut breaker in the fusebox? its a black rectangle with a little red button push the red button in and see if that works, i used to have that problem, and the breaker went for shit, so i took it apart and bent it up so it would jump the signal and it never gave me a problem since.... well i pulled all the heater stuff out now

my truck is an 87 b22 and jst for future ref. all b2000 and b2200 86-93 are the same (interior and body wise)
i tested it where it plugs into the motor. and as for the black relay with the red button, i thought that was it so we bought a new one. but as i said he read 11.8 but its not a full 12, does it hafta be, i thought it did but i may be wrong. thanks guys -bf
