how big is your insignia amp?? is that true power? the fuses in the amp, how many of what size is in there? i have an 800rms which is really 500wt rms. mine is an ma audio and it has 2 25amp fuses in it, 25+25=50, and to make it realistic 500, so for every amp its 100wts after adding the 0. thats what my local audio store told me one day. mazdamandan is running 600wts rms, his is a true 600wt alpine but like he told me, his amp doesnt have mch current draw. but i ran a 1200wt amp in mine and it idled anywhere from 2000-2500rpms but was drivable, but i didnt like it, thats why i sold my old one and got something smaller that i would like better. sealed is alot better for me, because our std. cabs have little space. -bf
