Has anyone had the problem of the dash lights working/ not working half of the time? if so what did you do to fix it or point me in the right direction

when your dash lights stop working,do your tail lights and parking lights stop working as well?

I just had a problem where I was blowing the tail light fuse, which made my running lights and dash lights go out. I never found the cause of the problem, but after randomly blowing fuses for a week, and going through about 15 fuses,it seemed to have cured itself.

If your problem is like mine, check the wiring on your radio, make sure there are no exposed wires causing ground outs, and get under the truck and check all your grounds on the frame,as well, take out your tail lights, and check your wiring harnesses, because water and muck likes to get up in there and cause problems.

Hope that gets you on the right track!

actually, my problem is the lights will be bright one minute, then dim, then out, then bright and back and forth.

weird. Does everything else work fine?

headlights work fine, turn, and taillights aswell as brake lights. I figure there may be a short or something somewhere, or the interior dimmer may b going bad
