speedo w/ tach cable threading

Yes. At first I tried it without moving the cable,and I was able to get the cable to plug into the cluster,but every time I put the cluster in place,the cable would move and come out. I rerouted it through the left hole and finally got it to stay,and now I'm rockin' and rollin' woot

oh,I might mention that I got a cluster yesterday,which is when I posted it taking 5 mins to install....the speedometer was already messed up in it so it didnt work properly and I tried taking the guts from my nontach one to swap over and that didn't work,so I got another tach cluster today and put it in.

Here's my tach cluster installed. Much much better now...and my truck mysteriously gained an extra 60 000km on the odometer....from 148k to 208k,lol

man i had mine working then abour 3 miles into the trip to my grandmas it stopped....im pissed, since it only takes like 5min to take it al back out, mikey could i ask you to take your cluster back off and show me a pic of how you have yours. also which hole you put yours thru on your firewall, i cant member but i think im in the right hole...i was soooooooooo pissd yesterday. -bf

man i havnt had time to try...plus, 2 days ago it was in the 80s and today and yesterday it was snowing

i dont understand how you keep breaking it??!?!! You must be reefing on that thing like a mofo to break it.

i donno hopefully dj is hooking me up...with 2, but he said hes not sure if he has them anymore or not. go find out for me haha -bf

yeah my speedo cable broke on day two after i finished my tach speedo instal. where could i get one?
