I just got a kicker comp 12" and a rockford fozgate 800 watt amp. components are 4" earthquakes. Bass hits pretty good with rap I can rattle my back license plate pretty good, can't even see out the rear view but the words are loud and clear. I want to run a capacitor and a second battery in the future though when I upgrade.

one of the best subs i have used and will only use now is Diamond Audio. I had a Diamond D3 10'' dual 4 with a Solid Audio 400 watt amp in a truck box and it slammed hard even though the box was undersized for the sub.
