Headliner

I'm painting some parts and covering some parts of my interior in black and beige. My ext cabs headliner is grey and ugly. I was thinking of just covering it in some type of non-reflective light black or beige material. But I live in florida and the heat and humidity tends to make the adhesive not stick anymore. So, is there a really good spray adhesive that any of you know of or is there another alternative to covering the existing headliner?

i always go with 3M products

3m super 77 is what ive always used in the past with no problems.
i am however in a dry climate as compared to the humidity you guys get.

would it be possible to trace a pattern and get a whole new headliner sewed up?? or try getting it sewed to the old headliner that way it can be held up with the rods and have no worrys of it sagging.

duplicolor has paint made for vinyl and plastic parts. I used it on my headliner and it works really good. Very durable too.

its impossible for me to evenly coat anything w/ a rattle can. i always get noticable spots or splotches. if i paint something, i use my guns and compressor. Anyway, id rather cover it in something. does anybody know of a good durable material that eithe rdoesnt get dirty easy or is easy to clean?

go to somebody that does automotive upholstery. if they know what they are doing it's not that big of deal to make a new whether you have a pattern or measure and make one from scratch. then you can have it made out of what ever you want for material. 3m adhesive never dries so i wouldn't suggest that to anyone.

Sem dyes will cover vinyl,plastic leather,etc.Good stuff.BJ
