My shit melted the wires running from the fuse box up the coloumn to the light switch. I was told the switch may have been faulty. Either way, the dash is out now, rewiring and figured it would be a great opertunity to smooth the dash and paint it. Sorry for the ramble, anyway, mine caught fire is why my tails, dash, corner, and bumper lights went out on mine.

The wiring harness for all the rear electrics runs thru a grommet on the passenger side rear of the cab.sometimes one of the wires will rub and short out.there are four grounds on the truck, battery to fenderwell, block to firewall, coil to rad support, and cab to frame right under the drivers side door.Check those.BJ

Use a multimeter and see if you have 12V at the lights. Then check if you have a ground at each light. Also check and make sure that your dimmer switch is plugged fully in.

Let me know the results and go from there.

My friend had the same problem and it turned out to be the wiring going to the brake light housing had rubbed on the chassis and earthed itself, have you got underneath and checked for any bad wires under the tray?
