One word (for head unit and mids/highs) //Alpine
Subs JL's are nice and clean and less expensive. I have ran a couple of sets of three W8's back in the day....hit hard as hell. Also Kicker are always good. IMO one of the most over looked things are the wiring. Spend the money use good wiring. It will make a difference. Run nothing less the 4gauge power and ground to a fuse/dist block. Then no less than 8gauge from there. Subs us 8gauge as well. Well there is my input for now. Oh yeah had some good luck with MTX as well.

have you thought about memphis audio? very good sq, requires very little air space, depending on what series subs. mids and highs sound very good and all and all there not that expenc.

Go with one or two 8's. I prefer Image Dynamics subs or Hertz subs. For the front end I would use Hertz all the way. Best bang for your dollar and even the lowest line Hertz will kill Pioneer or like brands and they are very comparable to Focal and the more expensive stuff.

Amps are the easy part. Zapco, JL, Memphis, MTX are all good and reliable. Run a mono for the sub/s and a 2 channel for the front. I would still run your 4 factory speakers off of the head unit for fill.

If you want an audio head unit I would only go with Eclipse. Full Nav and video I would use the Pioneer din and a half (Z1 or D1 I think its called). Only shittly part with the video/nav decks is the pre-out voltage, so it may be cheap but make sure the voltage is high enough for your audio. Again Eclipse video/nav decks still have 10+ volt preouts but you will pay large for them.

My 2 cents.

Infinity speakers are nice. I used to have 2 of their reference 10s in my toyota, now I have a kappy perfect 10 for it, but i have yet to build a box for it. Their speakers are awesome though. Ive never really used anything special for amps, but its all worked so who cares? I say go on like crutchfield and check out reviews before you buy. Also go to the audio install places near you.

i prefer... premier.... which is all i have in my truck... i will be redoing it soon and adding another 12" shallow sub, a premier prsd1100m, and a prsd4100f, as well as 2 sets of tsc720 prs components (which were spec'd out by car audio and electronics and blew focal, morel, boston acoustic out of the water..... and are way cheaper. i also sell premier... but honestly why i love premier so much is...I have fewer probl;ems with them than jl, kicker, alpine, clarion, orion etc......give me a few weeks and we will see what happens.... but as stated above.... the only choice is yours... all we can do is give you our opinions.

:\ I've lost faith in Pioneers capabilities to produce a quality HU. My HU is a Pioneer Premier DEH-P7700MP and when I crank up the volume, it will be fine for a while and then it well get quiet.

Called Car Toys and said they tend to do that...

i have a pair of kicker 10'' cvr dvc's and they hit very hard my vision goes blury when they hit. i would recremend them or the fosgate 2 ohm stage 3 dvc 8'' or 10'' they hit hard to. and go with a 1 ohm stable amp.
