Yeah, I like pain. I'm not in it for how LOUD my stuff is. I want to feel whats going on in my music. This, i think, will be the one to hurt me.
Heres something that went down in my cab plus....
"Say man, why you got that big ass 2100 on 2 comp VR 15s?" ---random guy
"have a seat and I'll show you"----me
*he sits in the passenger seat....I turn my volume up to my listening *sweet* spot, 25, and his eyes are opening WIDE like, WTF!!!, so then I raise my sub level from -6 (lowest) to 0 (midway)...he starts coughing and jumps out*
"Dude, Kicker comp VRs dont hit like that in a sealed box man, how the fuck you do that?"---random guy
"Overpowering a sub is not always a bad idea, as long as you know your limits and boundaries, my sub level was at minimum then I went to half way. My Bass was still at minimum, want me to turn that halfway and you see what it can do then as well?"---me
"man...aint no way i'm gettin in your truck again, that shit sounds too damn good, you compete?"---random guy
"nope, but it looks like I just won....I only put big systems in my rides so I can feel the music"---me
"I damn sure felt it!!!"---random
This was the setup...before I flipped the subs...I flipped them because the surround was pulling apart, so when I flipped it, it pressed it back down, and held it, so I re-glued it, and flipped them. And when I did, I dunno why, but pulled my wiring up. The 2100 was there for pics, lol. I unhooked it when I redid the surround. Didnt wanna make em pull apart again.
