Dash Question!

Is it possible to get the whole entire dash out of the truck?? Im taking out endless amount of bolts and it seems to still stay put. I also want to know how i can get custom gauge faces??

Yes, the entire dash can be removed. 3 across the top @ the windshield, 1 on each end behind plastic cover, then a few under the dash. I think the blower motor housing needs to be removed to get to one of the bolts. Also, much easier if you drop the steering column (don't need to remove it, just drop it).

10 total. ill scan a pic of a view that shows...and yes DROP THE COLUMN i didnt and iv got a beatup windshield to show for it. -bf

there are 2, 12mm bolts that hold it up u'll have to unbolt them from the bottom..

haha i started reading and the first thing i was gonna say is drop the column. i am guilty, i didnt think it would be an issue, i cracked it. 2 months later snow basically made it crack all the way across. insurance covered it for some reason. no complains.


its fairly easy to take out and put back in. i found it easier with 2 ppl. good luck and dont forget to post pics when ur done.
