this weekend i gonna be at my friends helping him rebuild his 68 camaro 350, and while we are doing that im gonna work on my center console. anyone have any pics of there center consoles? looking for a few cool ideas, maybe some tips/pointers, anything. my plan is to basically make the back end the usual arm rest, 1 or 2 cup holders, then slope down to the shifter, then swoop back up meet back up under the dash, butt up to the bottom of the heater and a/c controls.

anyone? thanks in advance guys. ill post pics of the build as i go.

Nice console, is it out of the automatic? Or was it in option in some of the trucks?

This one was probably added then, it was a SE. It was manual shift. the other one was just flat between the shifter & storage part. i should have taken pics of the door panels in this truck because it had power windows & the door panels looked stock but didn't have crank holes.

that looks really nice. what did you use for cupholders? i'm currently building a console and can't find anything good for holders.

Find a 93-96 Geo Prizm or Toyo Corolla and snag the cup holder out of them.It is in a self contained pocket and slides out when u press it in a little.Would fit great in or under dash somewhere.BJ

when i put cupholders on mine i went to walmart and got a "universal" set you set on the transmission hump it had 2 cupholders and a tray type thing..just like a catch-all sorta. and i used a dremel and zipped them out then slid them in their wooden holes i had cutout. want pics? -bf
