wuddya got for a shifter boot

Here's my shifter. (mind you, where the ball pivots, will be 4" to 5" below the floor)



And here's a boot like I want to get. I want black with red stitching, but I want MAZDA embroidered on it also.

where did you find a short throw?? I can only find MX3 323 Protege Probe ones. Will any of those fit??

That short throw IS for a 2nd gen RX-7. However, it should work on the truck tranny as well. I have the 13b swap already commenced, just need to finish with the wiring and such.

Being a bit cheap I'm about halfway through making a boot for my ute.
Got some soft black leather and pulled out my sewing machine.

Not a very manly thing to do admitting that I can use a sewing machine but I like the custom look over the shop look.
Just wish I had got suede now, makes my leather look like cardboard.
