FIBERGLASSED DOOR PANELS with inserts

i say do the panel in black leather or gator skin, and do paint the fiberglass the same color as the truck

still need ideas on material ,and what colors everyone thinks to set it off ,dont forget the inserts will be green like the truck ,with some recessed plexiglass in them

Hey man those look pretty nice, just out of curiosity how many layers of fiberglass did you do on them?
I'm about to make some pods for my doors also but can't find any good info, most of the stuff I find is about making sub boxes.
Oh and I'd paint them green too, maybe the same green as your outside color or a little lighter so they stand out more when your doors are open.

well since its only door panel, i use fleece and one really heavy coat ,and then another coat.when it hardens its rock solid since theres a frame underneath no need for more than 2 coats if it has any soft spots then just add another layer but dont need to over kill ,if you have bigger spans without any wood under neath just use some chop mat that will make it very very strong but should be plenty .on kick pods usually only one thick layer inside and out cause once you add filler it will be strong enough
